I first captured Kelli for her senior photos in 2016. Her and Michael started dating shortly after in 2018 and we worked together to capture their first anniversary photos at Interstate State Park. My heart absolutely fluttered a beat when I found out her and Michael were engaged and Kelli reached out asking if I would be their wedding photographer for their 2025 wedding at beautiful Wexford at Emerald Greens!
Kelli envisioned a very romantic, very fairytale esque wedding day. They chose Wexford at Emerald Greens in Hastings for the beautiful modern architecture, sweeping green golf lawn, and proximity to Kelli’s family home. The full sun and fluffy white clouds showed off and the beautiful light made me giddy to capture portraits on film! What a dream day, Kelli and Michael - congratulations!
Golden hour couples portraits at Wexford at Emerald Greens. The venue has an onsite day of coordinator who guided us via golf cart to some beautiful spots on the green.
The dance party vibes were off the charts, especially with the sweet announcement that it was Kelli’s grandparents 50th ainniversary!

At 86 and 84, their enduring bond is beautifully preserved in their wedding photos, which have become cherished heirlooms in our family. The timeless color tones and raw, natural emotions in their images inspire me to create heirloom, film-inspired photography for the couples I work with. I love capturing celebration, people on their happiest days, the intricacies of deep love, and beautiful flowers!
I live in a charming Tudor house in Minneapolis with my husband, our two little girls, and our cuddly cat, Goose—named after Gooseberry Falls, where we tied the knot in 2019! In my free time, you’ll often find us enjoying dance parties, embarking on camping adventures, or cuddling up with a good book (currently, I'm captivated by The Secret History by Donna Tart!).
