Grand Marais Wedding Photographer | North Shore Lake Superior Wedding
There is something almost otherworldly about weddings along the shoreline of Lake Superior. Rocky and rugged cliffs, northern forests, and endless water create a setting that feels both intimate and expansive. Meagan and Nick chose Grand Marais, A cozy harbor village set on Lake Superior, after years earlier visiting together. Drawn back by the artistry, stillness, and sense of adventure that define both the quaint town and their relationship, .Meagan and Nick chose this special place for their destination wedding.
Their 16 guest wedding unfolded as a three day celebration exploring Meagan and Nick’s favorite spots in Grand Marais together. The couple sent a custom playlist to their guests to listen to as they drove to Grand Marais, setting the tone for the weekend ahead. Meagan and Nick welcomed their guests upon arrival for a sailboat tour followed by a sunset walk onArtist Point, Hungry Hippie tacos and more adventures unfolded as the weekend went on. A few sweet touches: Nick had always had a nickname of Ollie among friends and family, so they had Sven & Ollie’s pizza cater for their rehearsal dinner…Meagan has a deep love for flowers and their guests created hair pieces out of loose florals to wear on the wedding day…every detail reflected how they were completely unafraid to do things differently and in their own artful, whimsical way…truly crafting an experience from their hearts that their loved ones will forever remember as an unforgettable North Shore adventure!
